Welcome
The whole reason I started this site, was because I have never been able to come across a really good Cortina/Capri site on the internet. I have tried to give a good selection of history, technical specs, etc... as well as work I have done on my cars as well.

It's been a little while since any update, but that doesn't mean things haven't been happening! Firstly the Mondeo blew it's head gasket, which marked the end of our time with it. It was sad to see it go, as it's done us well for the past 3 1/2 years. However, that means we have a new addition! A 1988 BMW 318i has now taken up the role of daily driver. We had been looking out for one for a while, and the departure of the Mondeo made the search a bit more urgent. Take a look at what we've bough under the cars section.

I have had all sorts of problems with a rebuilt Weber carb on the Capri, but hope to get it through an MOT again soon so I can at least drive it. In the mean time I am currently collecting parts, as I've decided to go down the 2.9 route with it! The totaliser is still there, but is now going towards getting the capri re-sprayed. If you fancy helping out, take a look.

I am also going to start a general servicing guide, and I've also been doing some experiments with rust removal methods with some very good results. I will update these shortly, so keep an eye out for updates. I hope you do find some of the information here interesting, and of some use. If you do have ideas about how I could improve the site or maybe what you liked about it, then drop me an email at sarkie83@yahoo.co.uk
